Training Diode Laser Body Hair Removal .

Women have been using hair removal methods for centuries. In the time of the Pharaohs it was already described how women depilated their legs, armpits and pubic area with an emulsion of sugar.

The treatment method by means of the Diode laser has been specially developed for all skin types, including dark to very dark skin! In contrast to the light used in IPL treatments, laser light has one wavelength, which means that the deeper hair roots can also be reached with a higher power. The main characteristics of laser light are the unique wavelength of the light and the concentration of the energy.

The hair grows in 3 different phases:
• The anagen phase
• The catagen phase
• The telogen phase

The telogen phase is the resting phase. Only visibly growing hair can be treated: these are the hairs in the anagen phase. Loose, dormant and not yet visible hair does not absorb enough light and cannot be treated effectively. Therefore, multiple treatments are required.
For optimal results, an average of 4 to 6 treatments will be required.

It is necessary not to sunbathe and / or sunbeds for 4 to 6 weeks before the treatment and during the treatment. In the event of unavoidable exposure to the sun's rays, we recommend using a sunscreen with a protection factor higher than SPF 30.

It does mean that you can get rid of unwanted body hair for years. It may happen that some hair returns, but never of the same density again. In that case you need a single maintenance.

Do not epilate or wax at least 4 to 6 weeks before the treatment, because the hairs are needed to conduct the effective heat inwards. No more epilation or waxing during the treatment. Shaving is allowed. Shave the area to be treated on the day of treatment or the day before treatment. Preferably up to 24 hours in advance. You do this preferably with a disposable razor. Do not use razor blades or razors that first pull the hair out of the skin, because the hair will sink back into the skin afterwards. As a result, it cannot serve as a guide for the light to be depilated.

Excessive and unwanted hair growth can be very annoying, especially in places where the hairs are clearly visible, such as the face, arms and legs. Diode laser hair removal is the solution to your problem. It works quickly, but most of all it is effective. With just a few treatments, you are hair-free. In addition, it is also painless. Spa savannah uses this special way of treatment. Other clinics often use IPL laser hair removal instead of diode laser hair removal because IPL devices are cheaper to purchase and do not require special training and skin therapy training. We prefer diode laser hair removal over IPL hair removal with flashes of light.

Spa savannah works with a special LightSheer DUET device. This laser system has been specially developed for hair removal and not for other ailments or conditions. That is precisely why it is specialized and well developed to remove your unwanted hair growth. The device at IPL hair removal not only specializes in hair removal, but is also used for other purposes. The diode laser is the first laser to be approved by the Critical American Inspection Service (FDA). To remove all hairs you need several sessions with this laser. The hairs that are in the growth phase are removed, because they are most easily destroyed. Because not all hairs are in the growth phase at the same time, you need multiple treatments. The number of sessions is on average four to six.

Many other skin clinics use IPL hair removal. There are quite a few differences between IPL hair removal and diode laser hair removal. Although an IPL is cheaper to purchase, at Spa savannah we choose diode laser hair removal with the LightSheer DUET device, because it is completely painless. Hair removal with an IPL is known to be quite painful. In addition, it can be depilated with a diode laser for every skin type, from white to black. IPL hair removal is only possible for people with fair skin and dark hair.

However, there are even more advantages of diode laser hair removal. The result is permanent: the hairs stay away. With IPL laser hair removal, the result is temporary: you do get rid of your hair growth for a while, but after a while they come back, which is very annoying. The hair follicles are not destroyed, but temporarily paralyzed. In addition, you also need more sessions with an IPL treatment than with a diode treatment. On average you have a desired result with a diode lase
